On his bike ride across America Jeff Sambur stopped in for a bite to eat He started in California and was on his way to Maine. Jeff has written a book..Destroying Demons on the Diagonal: A Firefighters San Diego to Maine bicycle ride into retirement.. that he has written about his travels across the States. Unknown to us at the time Jeff had already written four other books, and in his new book he was kind enough to mention his stop and our chat with him at our restaurant. Detroit Radio Host Dick Purtan surprised the help one morning by calling and asking what the proper pronunciation for Lenawee was. Then proceeded to give them his usual hard time joking around.
